Seiran Tozlian is an Armenian pianist and composer. He has participated in numerous international festivals and is a prizewinner of many competitions, including the Koch Piano Concerto Competition, the Anselmo International Piano Competition (New York City, USA), “Grand Piano in Palace” (St. Petersburg), “Young Talents of Russia” (Moscow), “Firework of Talents” (St. Petersburg), the 18th International Competition “Valsesia Music Junior” (Varallo, Italy), and the XIV Chopin International Piano Competition (Hartford, USA). Seiran graduated from the High School of Music of the Rostov State Conservatory named after S.V. Rachmaninov in Rostov-on-Don, where he studied with renowned professor Sergei Osipenko. During his studies, he appeared on many of Rostov’s most prestigious stages, including the Rostov Philharmonic, the Great Hall of the Rostov Conservatory, and the Rostov Drama Theater. Since September 2022, Seiran has pursued his studies at the Manhattan School of Music under acclaimed pianist Alexandre Moutouzkine. In 2025, he graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree and was awarded the Harold Bauer Award, presented to the School’s most promising graduating pianist. He is also a recipient of both the Armenian General Benevolent Union Scholarship and the Dora Zaslavsky Endowed Piano Scholarship, awarded to students of exceptional artistry and promise. As winner of the 2024 Koch Piano Concerto Competition, Seiran was selected to perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with orchestra at the Manhattan School of Music during the 2025–2026 season. During the 2025–2026 season, Seiran made two appearances at Carnegie Hall. In March 2026, he presented a recital featuring both solo and chamber repertoire with violinist Angelina Tozlyan. He returned to Carnegie Hall in May 2026 as a featured performer in the Armenian General Benevolent Union’s 120th Anniversary Gala Concert. He continues to maintain an active solo career, appearing regularly at the Manhattan School of Music, The Juilliard School, Merkin Hall, and other prestigious venues in New York. In 2025, he also served as a jury member of the Anselmo International Competition.
