About Me

Hello! I am a musician, guitarist, performer, and instructor originally from the DMV area. In 2023 I relocated to Nashville. I am accustomed to performing and teaching a wide variety of musical genres including Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, Gospel, Folk, Musical Theater, and Heavy Metal. I have 8 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels in one-on-one and group settings. I have taught extensively in person and virtually. I can provide in-depth instruction on guitar techniques, music theory, improvisation, ear training, and other skills from beginner levels to advanced. I graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Guitar Performance (Jazz Studies) in 2021.

How I Teach

Adaptability, kindness, patience, and professionalism are my core teaching values. I understand that no student learns the same way or wants to learn the same material. I always tailor my lessons to meet each individual students needs and help them grow from where they are. Some students love getting step by step instruction videos sent to them so they can reference them throughout the week. I will assign some students lessons from books to keep them focused and engaged throughout the week. Having taught both adults and children extensively over the years I have learned how to adapt to different musical and learning needs with joy and flexibility. I am looking forward to hearing from you and helping you with all your musical goals!
