About Me

I try to teach people Exactly what they want to learn. Wether it's a certain song, or how to write songs. I start with the basics, and build from there. I want to make sure my students learn about the musical alphabet down the guitar neck, how to read various types of sheet music (tab, manuscript, chord charts, scale charts, etc.), Chords, Progressions, songs, scales, improvisation, etc. I cater to my students objectives. While also maintaining a lesson plan.

How I Teach

With young students parental presence may be required at first. They often cannot keep focus on what you are saying, or holding the instrument properly consistently. Having the parent present will get them in the right direction until the lesson becomes more routine to them. Parents also are needed to make sure they do their homework. Special needs students typically learn more slowly. If they are Aggressive. It's important to deescalate the situation. They normally calm down.
