Afterglow Chorus

I am currently a member of Afterglow Chorus, under the direction of Arnold Lee. Afterglow is an amazing organization, filled with semi-professional and professional singers from all walks of life. We've performed numerous pieces, from Moses Hogan and Richard Smallwood to Stevie Wonder and Prince. You can find me on YouTube singing my solo, Ribbon in the Sky. I love this group!

About Me

I am currently a music teacher at a local studio in East Bay, California. I teach beginner piano and guitar, and I specialize in voice. I began teaching in 2021 as a preschool music teacher. From there, I built up my studio where I currently teach. I've taught online lessons before joining Thoven. A little bit about myself: I enjoy singing all kinds of music, I LOVE YouTube, and I love baking and collecting rocks in my spare time. I'm proud to say that I am the first college graduate of my family. Education is VERY important to me.

How I Teach

I have a fun and laid-back approach to teaching. I'm all about minimizing stress and finding out what works with each individual student. Some teachers are rigid...That's not me. I believe teachers learn from their students as well. Lessons are structured, and I aim to lift the self-esteem of each of my students.
