About Me
I am a local music educator was practically raised down here in South Florida. I started music in middle school and grew to get my degree in music education as I LOVED my music teachers. I now teach middle school myself. My vocal coaches were my favorite people to see outside of school. I want to help spread that same joy!
How I Teach
I believe everybody is different and needs a blend of learning styles to fit them. I adapt to my student and try to simply teach music. I believe in holistic, fact-based teaching, and work to ensure my students not only understands, but ENJOYS what they are learning. I will always ask a student what they do understand before I ask what they don't. Once I find the disconnect, I find out what ways they will understand it. An analogy? A drawing? Trying it themselves? We figure it out together!

Why I Love to Teach Music!
I have been interested in music since a very young age, though I wasn't always good at it. It took a long time before I found my voice. When I did, there was only one thing that made me feel productive- lessons! Outside of normal school time I would go to my teacher's house and learning how to sing. It's something I found a true love for. Though teaching choir is an absolute blast and half I really do love the one-on-one time. Seeing individuals shine during these lessons reminds me of when I was in that position and how close I was to realizing my musical dream. Now I get to help you realize yours!
